Freestone 6- Kicking was awful! made some half decent stops thought he would expect to. Jones 4- I thought he was very poor today, looked as if he couldnt be bothered, decent in the air though. Izzy 7- He was solid but made several mistakes, to be fair though he did recover well. O'leary 4 - hes a player who is unpredictable, either plays well or plays poor, unfortunately today, he was the latter. Johnrose 8- New left back maybe? very solid throughout, good in the tackle and decent in the air, lack of pace is maybe a concern though. Maylett 5- 3 words.......Couldnt be bothered. Britton 6- Worked hard but to no avail, lost the ball on too many occasions. Martinez 6 - Not fit, i would say hes 80-85% fit, clearly showed. Connolly 5 - Started off brightly but faded badly and look tired. Nugent 4- He dont win headers anymore!!! poor. Trundle 5 - Same as Maylett, couldnt be bothered but did do 2 good back heels. All in all it was a very poor performnace! Poor crowd and we badly missed Robinson!! JACKARMY!!!! --- Post edited by Swan_Girl2 on 17/1 17:38 ---

<> Serious? I thought he was awful - out of position, slow and didnt make too much effort to get forward. Completely different view of the same game? Great innit

Freestone 6 - He seems desperate to get out of his box as often as he can! Kicking was terrible as per usual. Jones 5 - Made a lot of mistakes early on but looked a bit more settled in the second half. Izzy 8 - Like you said, recovered well from all his mistakes. Johnrose 7 - Tackled & headered well but got himself booked (I think?) for arguging and kept playing very risky balls across the back. Maylett 5 - On the rare occasions he got the ball he did nothing with it. Britton 8 - A few good runs from midfield but didn't have any support. Martinez 6 - Passing was sloppy although he did well defensivley. Connolly 3 - Started OK, then kept drifting in from the left. The one time he did stay out there we created a chance. Didn't see him at all in the second half. Nugent 4 - Didn't win any headers and skyed the only shot he had. Trundle 6 - Couple of good flicks but generally played poorly, even though he had two markers. Thomas 5 - Didn't do a lot when he came on. Coates 4 - Did even less than Thomas.

I wouldn't say Trundle couldn't be bothered. Didn't have his best game but I thought he tried. <

>>Completely different view of the same game? Great innit << Same as me and Jackbhoy, who thinks O'leary had a good game whereas i dont. Maybe sitting in the east stand isnt as good as it seems

I wouldn't say O'Leary was bad but he certainly wasnt any better than the rest of them. As I put in the report I cannot pick a man of the match as I dont personally think any of them stood out as better than the rest of them

I have to agree with SG thought he had a solid game.

Thought I'd missed a player somewhere, oops! O'Leary 5 - Played ok but still looks very vulnerable in the air. Thankfully today we had three other defenders who could head the ball for him.

JIFFY_VAN_SWEDEN Posted on 17/1 19:18Email this Message | Worst Home Performance of Season

Without doubt the worst home performance of the year and we still got 1 point. About 12 months ago flynn said we had no pace in the squad. We still havent, especially when maylett does a disappearing act fr last 30 mins. See you in Mansfield G Travel all the way

totally agree. the bubble has burst with a big bang. if we are very lucky we might get a play-off place, but i doubt it.

Draw was a fair result I guess, but must admit to being dissappointed not to come away with the three points. I thought if we had shown a little more composure in front of goal we would have taken all three. After your win at WR I came on and said I didn't think you had enough class to mount a challenge this year and nothing I saw today changes that view. Having said that I thought we would be a lot higher than present so what the feck do I know. Liked the look of your number 7 and Trundle always is a handful. You played the ball around without really creating much apart from the once. Hopefully see you again next year.

A draw was a more than fair result, we were shite and dragged you down to our level.
