Swans Hall Of Fame

Building A Swansea City Hall Of Fame

Hundreds of players have passed through the gates of the Vetch over the course of it's 93 years and as the Swans prepare to move into their new home at White Rock, hundreds more will appear in the future.

But what we really lack on the net is details of past players - what we remember about them, what we know about them and in some cases, maybe even what are they doing now. The latter part is not overly important, the first two maybe more so.

However, being the lazy bugger that I am, I really can't be arsed to do all the research so this is where you come into it. We want to build a database of as many Swansea City players of the past as we possibly can. Stretching back to the side built by Walter Whittaker at the very beginning right through the ages up to the present day. And, we want you to do it.

For each player we would like a biography of at least 50 words as we build the Swansea City database of players - past and present. What stands out about the player, what kind of player he was and what he added to the Swans - you know the kind of thing - player profiles of all that have played. And basically anything else you want to tell us.

It doesn't matter if 2 or more people review the same player - the more reviews the more comprehensive the database becomes and as we add to it with player profiles of the present and future squad we build a database for generations of Swans fans to come......

You can enter as many or as few reviews into the database as you choose and over the course of the summer and beyond we will slowly add them to the database to build this up.

The only other thing we would suggest is that you don't enter profiles for the current squad - these will be added to the list from the profiles already on the site

All we ask is that each player you add is submitted via a separate submission of the following form. Once you have hit submit on the form you will be returned to the JackArmy.net home page.
