Name: Jamie Cureton Position: Striker Squad No.: 11 Height: 5'8 Weight: 67kg Date of Birth: 28.8.1975 Place of Birth: Bristol Nationality: English

A frontman with plenty of pace, Cureton lists his previous clubs as Norwich, Bournemouth, Bristol Rovers and Pulsan Icons. Jamie, who has earned a reputation as a sharp-shooter, returned to his hometown of Bristol to team up with then Rovers manager Ian Holloway, banging in 78 goals in four seasons. In August 2000, Reading captured the services of the talented goalscorer and in three seasons at the Royals he helped take them to the brink of the top flight. Eventually Wolves were to snatch the play-off position two years ago and Cureton was lured to Korea to play for K-League club Pulsan Icons.

Despite a lucrative deal, he never settled in Korea and sought the council of Rangers manager Holloway through a tough settling in period However, Cureton was never to settle and he was determined for a return to England. After joining QPR in February 2004, Cureton turned out in the majority of games until the end of the 2003-04 season. He was also in favour at the start of last season, partnering Paul Furlong up front. However, after making 46 appearances for Rangers, 29 year old Cureton joined Swindon Town in July 2005 on a two year deal and has proven himself to be an important player in their battle against relegation.
