Martinez Waits For Man Utd News
Roberto Martinez has said that he is waiting for notice from Manchester United whether Febian Brandy will be allowed to return
Brandy is a loan target for the Swans – not a £1m transfer target as some papers claimed – and Roberto revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson has now returned from his holiday and it will be the highly decorated manager who has the final say on Brandy’s future for next season.
"Febian settled in straightaway when he came to us," he told the Evening Post.
"He loved every single second of his time here and you could see him improving every day.
"He was slowly fulfilling the Premiership potential he has got and we're waiting for the go-ahead now to bring him back on a season-long loan.
"I've spoken to Febian about it and I know he's very keen to come and play for us again.
"Sir Alex is due back from his holiday and we hope we'll be able to find out what he thinks about Febian very soon," Martinez added.
"We have to see what Manchester United think of Febian's situation .
"It's important to find out what Sir Alex thinks of the way Febian developed during his stay with us. Hopefully, after that, we will be able to sort out another loan."
