Win At Cardiff City Is A Must

Huw Jenkins has said that next week's Welsh derby at Ninian Park is a must win for the Swans

Swansea City go into the final stages of their Championship season next Sunday knowing that they may well need to win five of their six remaining games to extend their season into the play offs come May.

And that run will need to start at Ninian Park next week - on of their rivas for the play-off positions as well as of course their local rivals.   Or at least that is the view of Mr Jenkins who told the Evening Post "Going to Cardiff and winning the game is a massive target for us.

"It's a big game for both clubs anyway, everyone knows that.  But if we win up there it would give us the chance to put some pressure on the siudes above us in the last five games of the season.  Beating Cardiff would set us up for the last few weeks of the campaign.

"It would be wrong to say we wouldn't be disappointed if we don't make it.  We played some good football and I think we deserve something out of the season.  On the other hand some people would say that finishing in the Top 10 is what we deserve.

"All I would say is that with six games left there is a lot to play for so let's wait and see what happens."
