MacDonald Hints At Permanent Exit

Shaum MacDonald has suggested that he may be on his way permanently out of the Liberty Stadium door this summer

The Swansea City midfielder is currently on loan at Yeovil Town where he scored his first hat-trick on Saturday.

He is now in his 5th loan spell at Huish Park and seems to have no opportunities at Swansea to push on with his career and that has led him to suggest that this summer could see his departure from his home town club.

He told the Evening Post "I have come here to get more games and I have another year back at home. I have just got to see what happens in summer. I love the club (Swansea) but I need to be playing and I cannot be hanging about back home.

"It was my first hat trick so I was quick to grab the ball and get the lads to sign it because it was a good memory," he said. "For the first I can remember the ball coming to me and wanting to hit it, so luckily enough for me it went in off the post."Without the team I would not have scored a hat trick, so it was down to all of the lads, not just me. We won the game through all the lads and the second goal was through good link up play with Oli Johnson."We have been aiming to get to safety as soon as possible and we know much of a big thing it is for us to have games Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday."We are not holding back, we are on a decent run and we need to go for it this week and get past the 50 points mark as soon as possible."
