QPR’s South Korean midfielder Ji-Sung Park is the special guest on this week’s Open All R’s Podcast, speaking about his difficult first season in West London following a summer move from Man Utd.
On the transition from United to Rangers, Park told Chris Mendes: “Mentally it’s quite different. Man Utd win always, most of the games, I came here and we lost a lot of games. It’s harder to recover from it, mentally you have to be stronger. It’s my challenge to endure at the moment, but I still believe we can make something and change this situation. I can just try my best and see what happened at the end of the season.”
Topics up for discussion ranged from Park’s nomination for the club’s Player of the Year, his reaction to having the club captaincy taken off him when new manager Harry Redknapp arrived, whether he will be here next season and whether he feels that the club signed him and fellow South Korean Yun Suk-Young for commercial rather than football purposes .
Paul Finney and Mendes are the studio guests with host Chris Charles.
