Aguero To Miss Villa Clash

Kun Aguero will miss wednesday night's match against Aston Villa at the Etihad but doe's have a chance of recovering for the final day encounter with West Ham. Aguero limped off with a groin injury during the first half of City's 3-2 win over Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Pellegrini confirmed to the Manchester Evening News that he will miss the game. "Sergio couldn’t recover 100 per cent from his groin problem, so he is not in the squad list.

"He can have some chances (to face West Ham). We will see the way he improves during the week.

"It was not 100 per cent sure if he was completely fit for Aston Villa, that is why I didn’t want to have a risk with him but we will see during the week if he can play on Sunday.

Yaya was also sustituted in the match against Everton but Pellegrini confirmed he is fit."Yaya didn’t have any problems. I just made the change because he is just coming from his injury and so he is not able to play 90 minutes but he didn’t have any problems in the last game."
