Released list - where are they now?

Keith Hill released seven players from Spotland at the end of the 2013-14 season, but where are they now?

Peter Cavanagh has signed for old foes Altrincham. This news comes as as something of a surprise as many expected him to sign for a League Club following his release from Dale, but he has signed for the Moss Lane side. He's played in two friendlies for them so far, and has won a number of plaudits for his performances.

Last season's reserve keeper Robbie Thomson has moved back to Scotland and signed for Cowdenbeath. He was on the bench for the Blue Brazil on Saturday in the League Cup game against Clyde, having played in their home defeat to Brechin in the Petrofac Cup.

Wideman George Porter is currently on trial with Dagenham & Redbridge. He played for them in their last two friendly games - a win against Concord Rangers and a defeat to a Tottenham XI.

Former loanee Graham Cummins is another player currently on trial. He's been with Exeter City for the past week and played in their home defeat to Torquay United on Saturday.

Craig Lynch recently had an unsuccessful trial with Gateshead. By all accounts he did well but Gateshead are running with a smaller squad this year and as such there was no place for Lynch.

There are no news on the whereabouts of Reece Gray and Godwin Adabaki.
