By Car

Assuming you are coming from out of town (if you’re not then why are you taking the car?) then take the M25 to junction 25 and then the A10 towards Enfield until it reaches the North Circular A406. Turn right into Fore Road A1010 which then becomes the Tottenham High Road which runs past the ground.

Parking

Basically, you’ll be lucky to find any within a mile of the ground. The local residents are kept happy with a stringent, blanket ban on visitor parking on matchdays so unless you live nearby or have a blue badge forget it. The ground guide states that some local businesses have taken advantage of this by charging up to £15 a car for the use of their facilities. The Harringey Irish Club opposite White Hart Lane station offers parking for £10. Pay very close attention to road signs if you are trying to park nearby, otherwise the old advice for London games about parking further afield and using public transport applies. All other suggestions from people with local knowledge would be welcome via the comment facility below or at loftforwords@yahoo.co.uk

Train

Trains usually run every ten minutes from Liverpool Street with extra trains laid on for matchdays. This being a Sunday, I’m not sure if that will be the case. At the moment trains are slated to leave every 30 minutes on the hour and at half past. They’re all stopping services as well, so a journey time of 21 minutes. The return ticket costs £7.10 and trains on the way back leave at 07 and 37 minutes past the hour.

The nearest tube station is Seven Sisters on the Victoria Line. This is a 15-20 minute walk up the Tottenham High Road to the ground — if you can’t face it then try buses 149, 249, 279 and 349 up the road and past the ground although allow time for the traffic.

The following service alterations are in operation on Sunday August 24:

- Buses replace trains on the Overground between South Tottenham and Barking.

- A rail replacement bus service is also running on the Northern Line between Edgeware and Hampstead.

- No service between Amersham/Chesham and Moor Park on the outer reaches of the Metropolitan Line. Buses replace trains.

Coach

As per usual for London matches, no official or supporter club coaches running for this one.

Drink

As ever with a London game everybody will probably do their own thing, and may well choose to drink in town. With the ground accessible through the Victoria Line the establishments around Kings Cross and St Pancras could be a decent bet, although I expect most going by train to use Liverpool Street and therefore any of the several pubs around there. The Harringey Irish Club opposite White Hart Lane station is the away fans haunt nearer the ground. Other recommendations can be found here.

Tickets

QPR have 34 seats remaining in the upper tier priced £41 adults, £24 seniors, and £22 under 16s. There are 130 remaining in the lower tier priced £37 adults, £21 for seniors and £19 for under 16s. These are now on general sale.

The wheelchair spaces for away fans are now sold out.
