Shimmin the Latest Departure
After three injury hit years at Loftus Road Dom Shimmin is the latest player to be released from his contract early.
Domini's contract was today terminated by mutual consent and with immediate effect and brings his injury plagued QPR career to an end.
The former Arsenal youth teamer, made his debut for Rangers away at Coventry in August 2005. Due to injury, he made just 3 appearances in the 2005-06 season and
although Dominic suffered another injury plagued season last term, he
forced his way back at the latter stages and played in the final home
league game of the 2006-07 season against Stoke City.
Dom hasn't featured at all for the first team this season and also had an unsuccesful loan spell at Bournemouth, making just 2 appearances before being sent back to Loftus Road.
We wish Dominic all the best for hopefully, an injury free future career!
