Saints Linked With Tadic's Former Team Mate

With Saints sat in the top three its natural we should be linked with all and sundry, here we look at the latest name to be tipped as a possible target in January.

Jesus Corona sound more like an exclamation made by someone drinking a bottle of Lemonade back in 1974 than the name of a professional footballer, but it is the moniker of the latest player to be linked with a move to St Mary's

Jesus Corona is a 21 year old Mexican international winger who is currently at Twente in Holland where he played alongside Dusan Tadic last season.

Described as a diminutive winger with impressive pace and dribbling abilities, probably by his agent, Corona would be available for £2.5 million according to media sources who are citing a clause in his contract.

Certainly Ronald Koeman has used his knowledge of the Eridivisie to Saints benefit with three former players in that division having joined Saints this summer and this could be a fourth as Koeman attempts to assemble not just a team but a squad.

Corona would be best described as a player with potential rather than the finished article, but turning 22 in January he is at an age when e could blossom, he made his debut for the Mexican full international side earlier this month and registered an assist for one of the Mexican goals in a 3-2 win over the Netherlands
