Transfer Rumours Can Wait Only Now Matters !

Whether Morgan Schneiderlin, Nathaniel Clyne or even Toby Alderweireld are about to play their last games for the club is of no matter, all that matters is that we win these games.

Of course it would be a big blow for Saints to lose these players but the fact of the matter is that the transfer window is not open for the best part of another seven weeks, that being the case we should pay no attention to rumours but concentrate on the task ahead and that task is to make this the joint second best season ever in terms of League position and qualify for the Europa League.

If we do that then we need the likes of Schneiderlin and Clyne to make their last games for the club(If that is the case) their best ever and if they do that then I will wave them good bye with my best wishes.

Football is changing, the days of loyalty are long gone in players, but as a club we have to work the system as it stands to the best of our ability and that means selling at top dollar, re investing wisely and utilising the loan market, we did that last summer and there is no reason why we should not do it this coming year.

But for now lets forget what the summer holds, lets knuckle down and concentrate on the last seven games, we cannot change what will happen in the summer now, but we can change what happens next season in terms of playing in Europe.
