Shock As Saints Not Linked With A Transfer Target !

The football world was shocked today when it was revealed that nothing can be found to link Saints with Tottenham Hotspur left back Danny Rose.

The national media was in chaos this morning when after finding out that Manchester City were lining up a £15 million bid for Spurs full back Danny Rose, absolutely nothing linking him with Southampton could be found.

The Sun scoured video footage of the crowd for City's visit to White Hart Lane but could not find anyone looking remotely like a Southampton Scout in attendance.

The Daily Mail thought it had stumbled on a scoop when a phone call to HMV in Southampton confirmed that the store had indeed only that morning delivered a DVD to St Mary's about Danny Rose, but further questioning found that this was in fact a copy of the 1984 Woody Allen film Broadway Danny Rose, apparently Ronald Koeman is a big fan of the bespectacled comedian who is massive in Holland especially the Rotterdam area.

So the press gang are at a dead end, there is finally a player whom there appears to be absolutely nothing that they can use to claim that Saints are about to make an offer for, a background check found that Rose has no traceable relatives from Holland, nor does he own Radar Love by Golden Earring.

A pity really as his name fits rather nicely into a once popular song around St Mary's

Danny Roseee whoa Danny Roseee Whoaa
He comes from Leeds United Youth Academy
He F***ing hates Pompey

But that is not enough to claim Saints are about to scupper Rose's move to the Etihad, or is it ?????
