QPR Youngsters Start With a Win
Rangers Youngsters started their defence of the Puma Youth
Alliance League title with a 3-2 home
win over Peterborough, at Harlington on Saturday.
Just like their first team counterparts, the R’s found themselves trailing early on with a goal after 4 minutes. But Rangers stormed back with two goals from the exciting Italian striker, Christian Nanetti and made the game safe through a Terry Smith goal in the second half. Peterborough reduced the deficit with 5 minutes remaining, but Rangers held on for a much deserved victory.
Rangers Youngsters are next in action away at Barnet on Saturday 30th August, kick off 11am.
All Rangers Youth Team home games are played at Imperial College Sports Ground, Sipson Lane, Harlington, Middlesex and Kick Off at 10.45am.
