Derby will hope to continue their run of performances and results when they travel to Ewood Park tonight.
Derby produced their best 90 minute performance of the season as they attacked with purpose and executed some superb build up play on numerous occasions in the middle of the park against an in form Wolves team.
There were quality goals finished by both teams, but in the end, Derby had too much class and ran out comfortable winners.
For Derby, Hendrick is a doubt having been sent home from training on Tuesday with a fever - which will prove to be a blow if it prevents him from starting after playing so well of late.
Jeff’s revival seems to be down to good form while on international duty and stepping up with a much needed consistency in his Rams games, especially since the arrival of Johnson and Butterfield who have given him serious competition for his spot. If he is unavailable it is most likely that Butterfield will deputise in his absence but Clement did also name Baird and Hanson as possible replacements.
Besides Hendrick, it is likely Derby will remain unchanged, but Clement still may cause a selection surprise in the full back position, although this seems less likely to happen in recent weeks.
Chris Martin and the Derby midfield will be looking for another solid and consistent 90 minute performance, with the full backs also pushing on.
Blackburn have a poor away record, but a solid home record. They have kept a clean sheet in their last 3 home games, winning 2 of them.
Rovers also have their own top striker in Rhodes who can score all types of goals and will be a threat for the whole 90 minutes.
Marshall is likely to deputise at right back for the suspended Henley, who was sent off for a professional foul in a 3-0 defeat away to MK Dons on Saturday, a decision that Rovers decided not to appeal.
Gary Bowyer will also be missing Guthrie, Lowe, Brown and Koita through injury and Olsson is still struggling with illness.
Akpan is a danger while Steel, Duffy and Marshall have a lot a championship experience. Delfouneso could also cause problems from the bench if called into action.
Prediction:
Derby are unbeaten away from home but Blackburn have a solid home record. Rovers will be hoping for a win to push them towards the top half of the table.
Derby are certainly creating enough chances to score goals but must be solid at the back while Hendrick could prove to be a big miss.
Derby to gain a very hard fought 2-1 win (just) with a goal from Ince.
