Saints Miss Out On TV Game In January
Saints are one of only three clubs not to be selected for a live TV game in the latest raft of games to be changed for TV.
Saints fans can breathe easily after the latest round of games has been selected for television knowing that they can for the month of January (FA Cup Games aside) watch their team in the Premier League on the original date & time.
Saints are one of only three Premier League clubs not scheduled for a live game, the other two being South Coast neighbours Bournemouth and West Bromwich Albion.
It now means that Saints will be one of only a few clubs who will visit Old Trafford for a 3pm kick off on a Saturday for their trip on the 23rd January.
Of course Saints might still get on TV during this month should they beat Liverpool in the quarter final of the Capital One Cup when they would then be playing in the week commencing 4th January and then three weeks later in the week starting 21st January, or of course an FA Cup tie.
