Pelle Fit For Visit Of Spurs But Stekelenburg Still Out
Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Graziano Pelle will be fit to join the Saints squad for the game against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Graziano Pelle has recovered from his knee injury that required an injection and kept him out of the starting line up at Crystal Palace and looks set to return to the starting line up to face Spurs on Saturday.
Ronald Koeman confirmed this at this afternoon's press conference, but also gave the news that Maarten Stekelenburg will not be fit to return so Paulo Gazzaniga will get a chance to continue in goal after his string of saves at Selhurst Park last weekend.
Saints boss Ronald Koeman confirmed: "Maarten Stekelenburg is not available for the weekend so Paulo will start again this weekend.
"Graziano is back this weekend.”
