Francesco Guidolin In At Swansea
Swansea City have confirmed that Francesco Guidolin has been appointed as Head Coach at the Liberty and will have the final say on team selection although Alan Curtis will retain the title of manager.
The Swans were first linked with Guidolin yesterday and things moved quickly with the announcement made today before the Swans 1-0 win over Watford at the Liberty.
"We are very pleased with the appointment,’’ declared Swans Chairman Huw Jenkins. "His experience and knowledge will be a huge asset to the club.
"Although we recently appointed Alan Curtis as manager until the end of the campaign, he was aware and comfortable with the fact that we were still looking to bring someone in to assist if we found the right person."
