Saints In Competition For Teenage Midfield Starlet

Saints are reportably in a battle with some of Europe's top clubs for the latest teenage sensation in France.

Saints are being touted as a possible destination for Bordeaux's Adam Ounas, the 19 year old midfield is attracting the attention of not just Saints but also Manchester United & Stoke City in England as well as the likes of Napoli and Red Bull Leipzig in Europe.

Although Bordeauz have not had a great season, Ounas has, scoring five times and providing two assists in his twenty three appearances this season.

The price being bandied around at the moment is around ten million euros, however he is under contract to the French club till 2019 so they are in no hurry to sell at least not cheaply.

One person who does seem to be though is his agent, he is saying that he has had several potential offers for his client at that ten million euros figure.

He has won a cap for the French U20 side and is tipped for big things in the future, Saints reputation for developing new talent will be an advantage if they have to compete for his signature.
