Last season he showed 106 yellows and three reds in 36 games. He was in charge of Barnsley's 4-1 home win against Swindon, and 2-1 away defeat at Gillingham . Eight yellow cards at Bristol City v MK Dons was the biggest haul in a single game.

Other Listings

Championship >>> Worth pointing out that a second group of full time, professional referees has started this season for the Championship to sit below the elite list Premier League officials. There are two from the elite list dropping down to the second tier this midweek though, with Simon Hooper at Brighton v Rotherham and Neil Swarbrick at Burton v Sheff Wed. Stuart Attwell has Norwich v Bristol City.

League One >>> Gavin Ward isn't even the most elite referee in his own home, and he has Charlton v Shrewsbury .
