Antony Coggins, who refereed Plymouth's first round League Cup win a year ago, is in charge at Home Park again this Saturday, his first QPR appointment.
Referee >>> Antony Coggins (Oxfordshire)
Assistants >>> Ravel Cheosiaua (Worcestershire) and Christopher Wade (Hertfordshire)
Fourth Official >>> Adam Ricketts (Bristol)
First QPR appointment.
Coggins refereed 24 games last season with the vast majority in Leagues One and Two and one Championship outing at Swansea 0-0 Barnsley. He showed 79 yellow cards (3.29 a game) across those games and just a single red in Sunderland’s 1-0 win at Tranmere. He was also in charge of Plymouth’s first round League Cup tie last August when they defeated Leyton Orient 2-0 on this ground. In 2018/19 his averages were higher, with 132 yellows (3.56) and three reds in 37 games, led by eight yellows and a red at Swindon’s 0-0 draw with Mansfield.
