Roger Freestone joins Swansea Independent

In a week of exciting announcements and a site refurbishment we are proud to say that Swans ‘legend’ Roger Freestone is going to be contributing a column to the site.

There’s so many good things to say about a Roger during his time at Swansea, from record breaking appearances to refusing to leave the club when it was on its knees - to list them all here in one go would take the rest of the day. Suffice to say Roger has joined the team and we say a huge thanks to Roger for his contribution.

Later this week we will be announcing more new Swansea Independent writers who have joined the team. And I feel indebted to them for taking on the challenge. In the meantime we hope to get some news on the site refurbishment today and new areas for you to visit which will include first team and reserve sides, Wales, Swansea A.F.C. ladies, and much more. It’s going to take time but we genuinely hope these improvements are welcome and give you a better experience when visiting Swansea Independent.
