Joel Piroe is a Jack !

He came right out of the blue - but Swansea Independent can confirm that a fee in principle has been agreed for Joel Piroe from PSV Eindhoven this afternoon. The fee is around one million rising to a potential two million over time, this was the news we brought you a few weeks ago.

The news was announced today he is a swans player after clearance papers were approved for him to play in the U.K. 19 days after we disclosed the deal in principle Joel will no doubt be delighted to be at the Liberty ready for Saturdays team meet up and pre season training.

Piroe is a Dutch under 21 International with an incredible youth goal scoring record, and is seen as a tremendous prospect. This is surprising that he should sign for the swans as he has been tipped for the top in his own country. Scoring three goals in twelve matches last season, two of those goals came in the Europa League.

Many swans fans will be hoping the player isn’t the only signing in the goal scoring bracket made this month, there is definitely room for one more.
