Dale Sign Chesterfield Winger

Rochdale look set to make another signing as the massive summer rebuild continues with a much needed winger joining the ranks.

Dale are set to sign Chesterfield winger Jesurun Uchegbulam for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old has played 38 times for the Spireites since joining them in July 2022 from Matlock Town.

Uchegbulam was born in Lagos, Nigeria but moved to Italy as a child and joined AC Milan’s academy before he and his family moved to Manchester when he was 15 years old.

Since moving to England, he’s played for Mossley where he scored 4 goals in 32 appearances, Matlock Town where he scored 7 in 32, a brief loan spell at Colne and then to Chesterfield who paid a fee for him. He only started 4 games for the Spireites with most of his appearances coming from the bench.

Welcome aboard Jesurun.
