Holt On Trial
Former Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Gary Holt will play for the U's on trial tonight, when they take on Heybridge Swifts at Scraley Road (kick off 7.30pm, not 7.45pm, as previously reported)
The 36-year-old ex-Scottish international is well known to Paul Lambert having played for him when the U's boss was managing the Chairboys.
United will be taking a strong first team squad to Scraley Road, but like Tuesday, there's no place for Johnnie Jackson, Phil Ifil or John White - all who look to be leaving the U's in the near future.
