Windy West Brom Training Ground tucked down a lane, bit like a Cold Blow Lane.
Leeds started the match with a quartet of u16 players making the step up to the next grade,
White, Whitwell, Watson and Hatfield starting the match. White and Hatfield have already been involved in
a couple of Reserve matches recently.

This left the u16 side a little under strength and it was more like WBA U16 V Leeds u15, with WBA winning 2-0

2 Elliott clattered by West Brom centre back
5 15 Ovington replaces 9 Elliott
10 Whitwell cuts in from right wing, and his left foot shot is well saved by
Dan Lloyd-Weston in the West Brom goal.
11 Whitwell does well to battle away and square the ball to Cartman, who shoots over
38 Long kick against the wind from Edwards, knock on by Whitwell, Ovington shot from
edge of the box to put Leeds 1-0 up
41 Brom keeper makes another excellent save from a Whitwell shot
42 Hesitation in Leeds defence between centre backs and keeper sees WBA forward
nip in and lob ball over Edwards into the Leeds net 1-1
45 Leeds up the tempo late on with 2 successive corners
46 another Leeds corner

due to the kids dropping my trust watch into a muddy puddle the times are approx

50 Leeds try and play offside but WBA score with a shot from edge of the area 2-1 down
young Adam Watson not being too best pleased with the ref and linesman
55 14 Hotchkiss replaces 10 Hatfield
76 Leeds lose a bit of shape and discipline at the back, big West Brom forward ghosts in at back post to loop
header over Edwards to put WBA 3-1 up
77 Cartman and Hotchkiss obviously wanting a bit more passion are bellowing at their team mates
78 Hotchkiss free kick, ball deflects up, Whitwell heads goalwards for little Josh Falkingham
to sneak in at the back post and bundle the ball over the line , to drag the game back to 2-3
82 Hotchkiss free kick 25 yds out, Hotchkiss special, bang, over the wall into the net
3-3
83 12 Wilkinson replaces 3 White, with Milne switching to left back
