New Home Kit A Success Story
Saints have broken all sales records for their new kit.
Whilst most would have predicted that Saints new home shirt would sell well, no one could possibly have predicted just how well, in anticipation of a big demand, Im told that the stock ordered was around the same figure that Saints would normally sell in a season.
However this has not proved enough, and just about every shirt available had been bought by the time the shops closed on Saturday night, indeed the most popular sizes had all gone long before this weekend.
The question now is how quickly stocks can be replenished as their still seems to be a high demand for the 125th anniversary shirt as well as the new away kit that also seems to be as popular.
There will of course be some Saints supporters who will moan that they cant get a shirt and accuse the merchandising department of not being up to speed with demand, but this would be unfair, the club shops have been over run by Saints supporters wanting to ge ttheir hands on the shirt, this is a feel good story of great sales, not one of shirts being unavailable due to mis management
