The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP 07:01 - Apr 4 with 2016608 viewsLblock

Here I am starting this from my recovery bed and no clue how to link tunes on an iPhone!

Will stick on my offerings from a PC later unless the other knuckles thread is the preference to use?

House classics and dancey dazzlers only, no hijacking from suicide rock please!

In the beginning there was jack.......

Been meaning to update for years.
Can only be one.......

Good morning all.
Not sure we have had this discussion on here but it is a hell of a thread to troll through so let me assume not.

Waht are your favourite compilations. For me this is up there with the best. Fantastic track selection :-

Tbh i havnt really got a favourite compilation album. There's so many mixes out there now whether on Soundcloud or youtube, your spoilt for choice.
I've got that Sound of Cosmos playing now ,Disc 2 , cheers Captn.
On Hooj Choons label, quality label that.

Albums that i always find myself going back to is Leftism and Exit planet Dust, Dig your own hole.
Im seeing the Chemicals in a couple of weeks ,looking forward to that.

Here's one of my favourite tunes from a quality Dave Seaman Renaissance:Desire mix cd

and then this, total classic :-) The unmixed CD has A&E Department Experiment 4 on it that I always ask Chris Liberator to play whenever I see him lol

Good call on the Compilations CCJ. It's meant I've been able to go through a couple of oldies tonight while the wife and kids have been out.

I'm going through the Kisstory CD's (remember them!) that I've still got. Not as good as I thought they were, obviously very commercial, but I've still been able to reminisce and throw some shapes to these classics so far this evening, so thanks for that.

Sasha & John Digweed - 'Renaissance' Vol 1
Paul Oakenfold- 'Fluoro' Vol 1
Paul OakenFold- 'Global Underground 'Oslo' & Global Underground 'New York'

Paul Oakenfold ' Cream-Residency'
Tony De vit -' Trade' Vol 1
Hook Recordings -'Live @Ben Nevis vol 1'
Anthony pappa 'global underground nu breed' cd 2

ive missed out people like Oliver Lieb, Dave Clarke , Red Jerry, Tilt, Solar Stone, Salt Tank , paul Van Dyk, Rampling, Jon Marsh, Dj Sneak,Green Velvet, Sven Vath, Gayle San ....fk me i could go on and on !...

Oaky's 'Fluoro' would be first choice.. released in 96 it was the first mix that blended Film scores from people like ennio Morricone and Classical music with trance and prog house ..it blew me away...and still does. it was so good i had the fluoro Aztec man (below)tattooed on my left tit..Looked good then , not so good now ive got bigger tits than Diana Doors.
