Sherwood clearly thinks that his 28 game stint at Spurs means he should walk into pretty much any Prem job on his terms. Problem is, having done enough to scare off us, WBA and Palace, he's fast running out of clubs who'll even give him a second thought with his current demands. I think the other 5 clubs in the bottom 8 would all be put off by the same things that put off us, CP & WBA...and I can't see any club in the top 12 who look like a good fit, be it now or in a few months time if they're struggling (and when the Spurs stint on which he has tried to build his 'legend' is even further back in the mists of time).

When he was interviewed two weeks ago the Villa CEO Tom Fox was pretty ardent that they weren't going to sack Lambert, because sacking managers is 'a false narrative'.
