People seem perplexed by the club's change of strategy, from consolidation to promotion chasing. Meanwhile reports from the Far East suggest that Air Asia has hit some financial turbulence. See: http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/10/30/us-airasia-loans-exclusive-idUSKCN0SO0 I am wondering if the renewed emphasis on promotion is because this would provide Fernandes with an exit from his investment in the club on half-decent terms......

Is Fernandes still in for the long haul? on 19:09 - Nov 3 with 2325 views
Its been known for sometime that all is not well with AirAsia.
If you think flogging AA is going to release funds for him to continue his financially unwise time at QPR, you're very much mistaken. He'll be bailing out the debts he has accrued personally and elsewhere.
A lesson for us all, if you're going go into something you clearly know nothing about, tread carefully and do not over-extend yourself. Its why he has had to move away from QPR because his core business is in the poop and his co-owners at QPR don't trust him with a rusty bike.
