I can only assume we were interested until FG took charge and wanted us to go down different avenues i.e Paloschi.

Well I hope he turns out to be a poor signing for what's left of this season.

The more players that Newcastle sign, the more I want them to crash and burn.
This seasons QPhaha.
I'm positive that Cashley is only getting all these players in because he's scared of losing all the free advertising he gets. Oh and the loss of TV money
Why hasn't he done this over the last few seasons?

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

May have been but it's irrelevant for a loan deal.

Yeah, well it negates the requirement. Let's hope they go down and it's not an issue!

Newcastle have had a very good window. I think they'll stay up now.

Really hope we get one or two signings today, but I'm not confident

Or maybe a club the size of Newcastle was a better prospect for him whether FG was interested in him or not?

I may have misinterpreted your post so apologies if so, but we are a small club and the likes of Newcastle will always have an advantage over us in that respect.

Hopefully, our signing will be more advantageous to us than Doumbia is to them.

Well they've certainly bought loads of players at massive cost that their current clubs couldn't wait to get shot of and were delighted with the deals yeah.

I think they'll go down, badly and expensively.

very interesting fact Doumbia scored 2 goals in 13 appearances for a top rate Serie A side. Paloschi has scored 8 in 21 for a lower table side. Serie A has always been the most difficult league for strikers. Even the great Ian Rush only scored 9 in 29.
Obviously FG rates Paloschi higher than Doumbia and he has his favoured player. Also Paloschi is 2 years younger

This.
Years ago, prior to many clubs being done for corruption, Serie A games would predominantly end up as 1-0.
Go a goal up and basically spend the rest of the game passing it about in midfield, then back to the keeper.
Lose the ball, then everyone back defending.

It's bonkers. Naturally wouldn't have minded Doumbia here but they'll have 50m they spent in the summer on the bench at this rate. This would be the most expensive team ever to be relegated.

Not played in the premier league before so still a big risk
We have four options up front
Ayew and Routs with Alberto and Gomis as back up

Dewi, you sometimes post sense but that comment is, well quite out of touch! You've taken the stereotypical view of italian football.
