Shadow Home Secretary? Serious? A proven liar and racist, probably the thickest politician I have ever heard and seen in action. And shadow of one of the great Offices of State. Are there no depths to which Corbym's Labour will sink?

Irrelevant though isn't it. Could make Joey Barton shadow home sec, never getting into power. Meanwhile a completely unchecked government is doing whatever the fck it likes.

Jesus f*cking Christ, Theresa May is busy rolling out her designs for a fascist Britain, and all you lot can do is find time to criticise Corbyn's appointment of Diane Abbott. You're having a laugh. Corbyn won the Labour leadership by a massive majority; more people have voted for him than have ever voted for Darth Vader's evil sister currently residing in Number 10. Corbyn's not even particularly left wing (certainly not left wing enough for my liking), but half the country is buying into the extraordinarily biased mass media coverage of the man and his ideas.
Fine, fine, get your bloody knickers in a twist over Diane Abbott while May is pushing her fracking agenda, her bloody racist agenda and all the rest of it. Heaven forbid that anyone might actually pluck their head out of their ar*e long enough to do some thinking about the situation the Tories are putting this country into.
It may well have escaped your attention but the majority of British people when polled support ideas very close if not identical to Corbyn's on the NHS, the railways, even on defence and foreign policy. There's a reason the mass media put so much time in trashing the man, it's because he represents a choice outside of the neo-liberal mainstream, not like that f*cking ex-big pharma PR tw*t Owen Smith.
I'm not a Labour member, fek I don't even believe in electoral or parliamentary politics - we're royally f*cked to be honest and in need of revolutionary solutions- but for goodness sake don't let the BBC and the Murdoch "press" lead you around by the noses.......... sneering at Corbyn whilst Theresa May takes you roughly from behind with her giant fascist strap-on.
‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’

The whole of UK politics has gone to pot. Genuinely, the lunatics have taken over the asylum.
The Tories, spearheaded by May and Rudd, are busy attempting to implement chapter 2 of Mein Kampf under some strange "clear" mandate based on £17m people of a £70m population voting for Brexit.
Labour are becoming a Trotskyite protest group with some phenomenally incompetent, morons on their front bench, and no chance of winning over middle England and ever getting elected. Although I'm not even sure that's their aim anymore.
UKIP have just had a mass brawl at a meeting of their MEPs in Strasbourg where the front runner for Leader for KO'd by a colleague after they "took it outside". Sounds like an excellent leader of people, that chap. Jeez.
The Lib Dems are being run by a man who looks and sounds like he'd be more at home as headmaster of a small Christian primary school in Dorset, than as leader of a political party, which at present is the only one within miles of the "centre ground".
The SNP are still run by Nicola Sturgeon, a crazed, power hungry, self interested woman campaigning for what's best for her and not Scotland. Still planning to base the whole economy on oil, woman? After what's happened in the last year?
It's fcuking barmy.
British politics is hurtling towards the ground VERY fast at the minute.

Surely this is the golden generation of politics, just like Gerrard and Lamphead. A strong midfield able to tackle one and all. If anyone believes politicians are in it for anything less than massaging their own egos, should think again. They're all the same. Lies, lies, and more damned lies. Irrelevant who's the shadow this or the shadow that, seeing as the loony left lunatics don't look like Westminster soon. You can't blame the politicians or the system for spewing up this lot of self indulging pickpockets, it is what it is and we will all have the chance for change come the general erection. Or not, if you believe that democratic voting doesn't work.
It's not what you've got; it's where you stick it.
If you're more angry about Diane Abbott in a SHADOW cabinet than Boris Johnson, David Davis, Francis Maude, Amber Rudd, Nicky Morgan, Theresa May, and 20 other evil money grabbing psychopaths in a ACTUAL one then you are truly warped.
I don't remember seeing any outraged posts about Priti Patel who claimed £700,000 in expenses and called the British fat lazy cvnts (paraphrased). There are another 1,000 quotes like that from that cabinet of millionaires.
It boils my piss that we hold Labour to a higher standard than the Tories. We a are nation of deluded self hating working and middle class.

Also, if we all voted on policy rather than personality, Labour would win by a landslide.
I bet you all know about Corbyn's scruffy dress sense, but couldn't name half of his ten policy pledges without googling them.
Is one :- Evey man in this great nation, be they indigenous or immigrant, shall own at least one snazzy sharp suit which will be either fully state funded or via PFI? Women are entitled to two suits as they are just simply lovely and get a raw deal
Politics in the whole world is fcukd. I'm more sick of it than modern day football
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

My uncle was deputy head of the political sciences department at Tehran university before the revolution, and he says that the problem is world wide. He says that the world is full of politicians as opposed to leaders, or even statesmen. He says that's what's missing from today. Everyone's in it for themselves, sound bites and legacy. The twitter generation, he calls them. He also says that the main politicians, G7, G20 etc, are invisible. Otherwise how else would the war in Syria still be raging with no sign of relief. Assad now said that Aleppo will be destroyed, and what has anyone done about it? Well, we are very outraged, but will it affect the price of oil? Sudan, another African genocide, but no time for reporting on the news; time for another break. The staggering lack of leadership or direction is sheer madness, one day closer to Armageddon. And can anyone see that either of those two Amerikan monkeys will make a difference or just speed up the process?

The contents of this thread is yet more proof, if any were needed, that as a collective we share the same circulatory system and support the same team that wears blue and white Hoops .

Which is exactly my point - she's doing whatever the fck she likes, because she can. No credible opposition, no chance of losing the next election.

Yes, but in fairness it was good to see this week that the PM’s war on the metropolitan elite was roundly applauded by the 27 millionaires sitting around her cabinet table
I concur with the opening post. The day that fat black complete and utter fool (as opposed to middle aged white) takes office is the day I eat my hat. I think Boris baby is a bit of a clown and unfit to represent our great country on the world stage but she would take the biscuit (several packets of).
Corbyn, the conservatives not very secret weapon.
