I usually save my biggest bet of the year for one choice from each division as either a promotion or a relegation (you cant make two bets from same division in an acca obviously).
I have had a fair amount of success over the years.

Every season all of us in my work syndicate pick five lines each and just do a quid on each with the proceeds of any win shared.
One of my lines was Chelsea, Newcastle, Sheff Utd and Portsmouth.
We got £260 quid back but how lucky was that given Villas last minute equaliser against Brighton and the fact that Portsmouth were top for only twenty minutes all season. It just happened to be the last twenty minutes! |  | | |

Why is everybody suggesting Blackburn to go up immediately.
League 1 (as we know) can be a hell of a slog, the only hint of promise I guess is they have Mowbray in charge who seems to have given them something of a glimpse. |  | | |

My bet for this year is as follows:
Villa - Promotion - off the back of that lad up front and the Bruce factor
Blackburn - Winner - Good signings for that level and the Mowbray factor
Mansfield - Winner - Because someone on here said so and the Evans factor
100/1 give or take a bit!!!
