Oh, quick wiki and I see he's actually Swiss but of Kosovian heritage. Hah, already playing in a hooped shirt, he'll fit in no problem.

"Queens Park Rangers are yet to really make an impression in this summer’s transfer market. Teenage midfielder Charlie Owens could prove to be an excellent acquisition from Tottenham Hotspur while QPR landed Barnsley scrapper Josh Scowen on a free despite interest from a huge number of Championship clubs.

Yet, they are still yet to spend a single penny in what has been a very quiet summer at Loftus Road. However, that may change sooner rather than later.

According to GetWestLondon, QPR scouts were in attendance as Brentford took on Swiss side Lausanne-Sport recently, with Kosovan defender Benjamin Kololli the object of their affections.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Loftus Road for some time but reports that QPR have watched him personally suggests that a move could be in the offing. The report adds, however, that the Championship club are far from the only team with an interest in the Swiss born Kololli.

Natural right-back

A number of sides from Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga have tracked the progress of this talented right-back, who can also play further forwards in midfield. Swiss giants Basel are also in the race.

GetWestLondon understands that £750,000 could be enough to land Kololli but, with an increasing number of clubs joining the race, that fee may well increase and fast.

Therefore, QPR may have to act fast to land a full-back who netted an impressive eight goals in 24 league starts in 2016/17 as Lausanne-Sport finished ninth in the ten team Swiss Super League."

Who's Charlie Owens, while we're at it? First I've heard of it.
