Went to Forest v Millwall tonight. Forest won 1-0, completely underserved. Millwall had about 12 clear cut chances, 4 before Forest scored just before HT. With about 10 minutes to go Millwall had a goal disallowed, but it took a couple of minutes for it to become clear, in which time they'd invaded the pitch and gone mental. Their fans are entertaining to watch, I'll give them that.
Forest should be worried, they looked awful without Assombalonga and Warburton has them trying to play out from the back, which was nearly punished on several occasions. Even Rangers will figure out how to pressure that.
Millwall looked good, just some unlucky/poor finishing. They look good to stay up on this showing.

He was pretty crap as per usual. Spent the first 25 minutes bombing down the left from fullback, then, rather than crossing with his left, he would cut back onto his crap right foot and do nothing. Enough crowd abuse forced him to stop doing this, after which he just spent the game at left back. His first touch is poor.

Watched an hour of Sunderland Derby. Every year this league gets you the exact same way... you go in with all these delicately nuanced notions that oh Team A is bad but it might be Team B's year and then within five minutes of watching them play you are fully reminded that yes, actually everyone's just the same oafish garbage.
What was Clive's timeless line again - 'Two fat men trying to get past each other on a narrow staircase' ...? Too right.
