Or whatever you call em, don't seem so long ago we were all jumping around at Vicarage Road celebrating bloody promotion, we went up then bloody 'blew up' they stayed where they were and since then they've had something like seventeen Managers and now look at them sitting 4th in the Prem after beating Wengers pussies.
Not sure what I'm really moaning about, anyway bolox.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

No, it's a valid point.

I am still Steve but no longer in Dagenham.

Living proof the DoF system works. And their fans love it.

If clubs like Swansea, Bournemouth, Burnley and Watford can go up and stay up there shouldn't be any reason why we can't do it. Our history over the last 40 years is far better than theirs.

If it's implemented properly. We have a Directof of Football but unfortunately we're still going through the same cycle where every time we change manager we have a fundamental change in footballing philosophy. Surely the DoF role is about maintaining a consistent philosophy so that the system works regardless of personnel.

Watford also make a mockery of this claim that you can't achieve anything without 'stability'. They've been anything but stable on the footballing personnel front, yet they've managed to get promoted and stay in the Premier League.

Which really goes to show that history counts for nothing, otherwise Leeds and Forest would be in the Premier League

A few posts in recent times have said that we are a smallish club who punched above our weight by achieving so much over the years. If that is true how come some of those teams have managed to avoid finishing bottom of the premier league in 2 out of the 3 seasons since 2012?And they haven’t bankrupted their clubs to do it?
