Funny, when they were on the way down and we played them their fans chanted hate at him non stop

But when they did us 6-0 having spent a billion pounds with Rafa Benitez in charge on route to cantering to promotion they seemed oddly ebullient about their club's situation

I hope the next owner turns out to be a disaster for them, the fella has been slaughtered for trying to run them as a business and not bankrupt them, some of the most deluded fans on earth. Ashley is not the best of owners and has made a lot of mistakes but all they seem to want is someone to come in and spend a load of money, Everton are showing that doesn't always work.

Perhaps we could do a owner swap.

'You didn't know that was wrong, but now you do. If you do it again, I'll know you are doing it on purpose.'

The rather surreal world of British football:

'This week’s Chinese communist party congress in Beijing from Wednesday could prove crucial in facilitating any takeover as it is thought President Xi Jinping will determine whether Chinese consortia and individuals are once again permitted to invest in foreign football clubs.'

They could’ve got rid of him within a year if they had boycotted the club like they used to do when they were sh@t.
No owner could ignore 25-30,000 empty seats at every home game.
I hope they get an owner who changes the kit to black and white quarters and the name to Newcastle dragons.
