I’d give Mackie a 2, possibly less as we always seem to play with 9 men when he’s playing.
Lose 1 from the 11 just because he’s now a donkey and should never have been allowed to go into the team ever again, and lose another because that player has to cover Mackie.

Why does Mackie continue to start every game? As much as he tries hard, there is clearly no end product whatsoever. Even though Washington has hardly excelled, surely he should be given a chance to play alongside Sylla. Mackie is an impact player at best, who gets the crowd going and puts tired defenders under pressure. Here we go...We cry out for players who will wear the shirt with pride, run through walls for the club and plays to his maximum ability.
Then when we get one he's not good enough.
Yeh maybe his best years are behind him but I'd rather Mackie then about 50 other players we've had over the last 6 years..
Btw im not saying he should start every game and he's best deployed as an impact player but turning Mackie into a boo boy would be ridiculous even for QPR. |  |

Washington, rightly IMHO, given stick when he was starting earlier in the season, now he's the new saviour.

He's scored 3 goals this season and done pretty well in a lot of games. He's clearly in the team to help us win the ball back high up the pitch and allow the midfield three to get on the ball in the opposition half, something he's done pretty well so far. We don't have an outstanding striker so Holloway has gone with him to help get the best out of the rest of the team | | | |

They do but when they played up front together at the end of last season they were both far too slow in closing down and the opposition found it a lot easier to control the game and get into our half.
Smith is perfect as an impact second half sub after Mackie has chased and worn down the defence for an hour and Sylla looks like he's got the other striker spot now.
Saying that I'd probably go wth Washington on Saturday ahead of Mackie [Post edited 23 Oct 2017 21:29]
