A sad time for a Rangers legend.
For an elderly couple who have been together for most of their life to go almost at the same time has a positive side to it .
I always think it is sad that one has to spend their last days alone after all that time .

For an elderly couple who have been together for most of their life to go almost at the same time has a positive side to it .
I always think it is sad that one has to spend their last days alone after all that time .

Mrs PPs parents died in hospital within 5 days of each other.
Neither knew the other had gone. They were married 60+ years.
Some thought that sad, but others like you, thought it had a silver lining to it.
My Dad died a few weeks later - Jan 14 not a great month for us.
As I'm sure many will realise after a while the hurt is replaced by happy memories, although I don't think you ever quite get over losing your parents - nor should you.
You become a slightly different person I think.

Terrible loss for him, so sad to lose them both so quickly.
Possibly, as others have mentioned, he may eventually take some solace that neither is left alone and perhaps it is a kind of blessing in disguise.
