Match thread - Forest (can I?) 13:15 - Feb 23 with 37560 viewsCopenranger

Not a regular poster, but could I have a match thread for my birthday, please??
Turning 40 today, which probably could have been a minor depression.
But got up this morning to a surprise from my girlfriend:
Tickets to London for the weekend. At the airport now and she just showed me tickets for tomorrows game as well. Amazing - and she doesn't even care about football. Can't ask for more, but would really like to have 3 points as well :)

See you at HQ (haven't been there for more than a year, so excited)!!

He has his deficiences certainly but you seem to revel in us losing. Have you ever backed a manager through the years?

All of them apart from this clown. Try sitting through the fecking dross served up by him this season which is so predictable. I am up in the SAR stand and quite a few have already left.

Since Curtis Fleming left our defence is even worse and that´s saying something

I disagree, to be honest.

I think that our two games this week have seen our midfield let our backs down.

If I was one of the back three today I'd be demanding a word with Freeman and Luongo in particular. Lazy as fugg.

Luongo tap-in from a Smith flick-on at a corner.

Thanks chaps,

Am bearing up, have ‘waves’ of sadness and tears come across at the most silly of times.

Funeral is on the 23rd March in Kings Lynn, as apparently there is a glut of deaths in the county. Lol

Ordered a QPR flag from the web site yesterday for his coffin in case mum cannot get a loan one from the club, so at least he will go out in style.

I purchased QPR socks, tie, and cuff links as well to brighten up the proceedings.

As for the match, it’s sad that we still get mullered at home, especially as the 2 immediately below us will go above us today, as the results stand as I type this.
I’m like all of you, I hate it when we lose, god do I.

Hence 3-0 at home not being acceptable, and needs sorting by Ian sharpish.

Edited..... goal back now from Luongo. Game on?

Edited edit........ more goals and the league looks better, despite a potential loss to our beloved club.
Cheers
Dave

i was thinking the same before today's match, as it goes. Luckily a number of teams have been a lot poorer then i expected - didn't think brum, sunderland or hull would be as bad as they have been.

this is really poor today - it's no wonder our midfield 3 sometimes looks leggy, imho, they have to cover a lot of ground.

I honestly don´t know if we are worse defence wise, since CF left.

But I do think he was doing a fairly decent job, what with all the injuries we´ve been suffering.

If I was Manning, I'd be wondering what the christ I had to do to get some time on the pitch.

Smithies saves a long-distance shot but parries it into the path of a follow-up. Nice finish for the goal. Poor from Smithies.

What a f*cking catastrophe. Holloway's interview later will be a gem. Out inconsistency is absolutely epic at the moment.

This reminds me of that Newcastle 0-6. Giving them (Tomlin in particular) the freedom of the park.

Interesting to compare the reaction and attitude of the team going three down this time compared to last time
