Tonight's Stop the War demo in Westminster contains a mix of many views: - Those who think bombing never helps - Those who think the PM should have asked MPs first - But also, those who think Assad is a 'good man' because 'he's a doctor'. pic.twitter.com/1HrBFg2An5
When approval for the bombing is at 22%, why have they picked out the wide eyed lunatic when that demonstration was full of doctors, economists, and diplomats to choose from.

Have to love the UK media.

Would you have preferred they had asked a doctor or an economist or a diplomat rather than the person actually asked. A little bit elitist dont you think. Anyway why do you think that women was not a doctor, economist or a diplomat.

Because she’s a 100% certifiable fruitbat!
favourite cheese mature Cheddar. FFS there is no such thing as the EPL
Robert Fisk pouring serious doubts on the supposed chemical attacks that prompted the bombings.
The thing is with these things, it's always so predictable.
No matter what's happened, it'll seem like it was the Russians* and probably will be the Russians. We'll say it was the Russians. They'll say it was Britain and America or the rebels, in a cunning attempt to smear the Russians. It can never be proved, because, if there is proof, the Russians will say it's fake proof, placed by the Britains and Americans or rebels to frame them. We all know it usually is them (or everybody apart from those flat earth retards), and was probably them this time and last time and next time, but you wouldn't put it past the rebels or the yanks either if it suited them. Plenty of sociopaths and psychopaths happy to gas their own side for personal benefit. So we'll never know for sure. Like everything else.
We're doomed. Same same.
* Chinese, Taliban, whatever

They're all in on it together I reckon, sharing the profits while they divide the masses between pro-war and anti-war, led along by the mainstream media hysteria telling us what to think.

No, I don't think so.

The woman was shrill and excited almost to the point of appearing unhinged (I have to wonder what had happened immediately before the footage shown). Her argument about doctors was risible.
There are many pertinent reasons why the bombing should be examined, only one of which was mentioned by her (May's authority to order the action). Though possibly well-intentioned, she actually wasn't helping her case with her poor presentation, which is exactly why she was being used by the commentator.
I have to point out that she, and the people around her, identified themselves as supporters of the Assad government by the flag they were wearing. This is the flag of Assad's Syrian Arab Republic government:
The opposition Syrian National Coalition uses the old 'Independence Flag':

While I was not there myself, a dozen of my colleagues were, and said that the presence of these nutters was so small, that no one who attended from the group can recall them.
The remaining 99% of the attendees were against the bombing as a principle or angry at the avoidance of parliamentary scrutiny.
It’s boils my piss that we are even talking about this swivel eyed nutter, and not the issue at hand, which is the conversion of a pile of rubble into smaller rubble at the equivalent cost of a row of three bedroom houses that could home the entire street population of London.
Even fcking Blair went through parliament before he shagged the Middle East and inspired a generation of murderous arseholes to blow our citizens up.
We are fcking idiots for indulging this shite. Shame on all of us.

Report on this instead you inflammatory arseholes:
‘With each JASSM costing over a million dollars, Lockheed Martin will make a tidy profit. Their investors, including Capital Group, will make a fortune, in part due to of one of their employees partners launching legally questionable air strikes, without the permission of the UK Parliament.
This cannot be allowed. It is clear that the interests of Philip May’s employer are served well by the military actions of Philip May’s wife. Philip May has become a perfect example of the blatant corruption in our society which permeates the very top of our democratic power structures. It is not acceptable for Philip May to stay in his position at Capital Group while Theresa May wields the ability to take the United Kingdom to war.
It isn’t only Lockheed Martin who benefits from the spoils of a middle east crisis. Capital Group has investments in other businesses that get a boost from the future conflicts. The Group own 5.12 percent of Boeing, 9.85 percent of oil giants Royal Dutch Shell, as well as shares in some of the most powerful internet giants such as Amazon, Google, and Netflix. The Capital Group already has an enormous amount of influence. Keeping Philip May is just greedy.
If you feel strongly that Philip May should step down from his position at Capital Group, then please get in touch with Theresa May's Downing Street office. Stop our leaders making a profit from war’

Agree with virtually all of this but not your follow up post, no way is May doing this for personal financial gain, she may be daft but I’d say she’s a straight runner.
Problem with May is give her a 50/50 decision and she’ll almost certainly choose the wrong option.

Worth pointing out again, Capital Group don’t own the shares, their clients do. Capital will be paid a fraction of a percent of the money they manage in their funds. Capital probably hold investments in over a thousand companies, and Philip May won’t be picking any of them. The promotion of the idea that Mrs May is inevitably under the thumb of an evil capitalist of a husband might help explain why Labour has never had a woman leader.
Mrs Assad is from Acton. She can’t be all bad.

Yeah you've beat this drum before, and tried to make out that Phillip May is just the janitor or serves the tea. Even if he was just the Parking attendant, it is still a conflict of interest.
He is a speculative capitalist, working for a speculative capitalist company. When his clients benefit , he benefits. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but how arrogant (or corrupt) do you have to be to leave yourself open to that opportunity. Maybe the hours before Mrs May convinced the cabinet to bomb fck out of a already demolished country they were talking about the garden and holiday plans.
And Labour have hade two female leaders by the way, and unlike the Tories the membership elect ours.

Sorry, I had genuinely forgotten when Margaret Beckett and Harriet Harman were swept into power on a wave of public enthusiasm.
May used to be a fund manager, but has been a “relationship manager” for years. This involves him taking Capital’s clients, typically the trustees of pension funds or endowments and their advisors, out to lunch and begging them not to move their money into cheaper index funds. He definitely doesn’t pick what goes in the funds. Capital are so big that it’s inevitable they hold stocks in oil, defence, Google, Facebook etc. They’d be sacked by their clients if they didn’t. I’d be pretty sure they also hold shares in Russian stocks about be slapped with sanctions. One of the features of being such a large institution is that your holdings have to be declared, so keep your eyes open for any evidence of pillow talk. However, given the persistence of myths about his connections to G4S and Serco, I’m sure you’ll be able to read the legend.

And who the hell were they?
Don't tell me you're talking about Harriet Harman, clutching at straws or what?
