Best defensive record and by all accounts been very good for them... I wouldn't swap Smithies for him but then that's not really what the team of the year is about.

I think Freeman deserves a place over Cairney for example, although I think overall the latter is better generally

If we are going to sell Smithies, let's hope we can sell him to a QPR-supporting manager, becasue QPR fans seem to rate him significantly higher than everyone else.
