My memory isn't great, was that the game where Kinklaze scored early on if so I was at that game, my one and only trip to Maine Road |
Can't remember who scored first, but the game ended 2-2 which meant they were basically down and we had a much better chance of staying up (can't remember if we were actually safe).
The City fans were very generous post defeat, and many chucked over some of their seats in case we'd lost ours. | |

- the referee was absolutely desperate to disallow our other goal from a quickly taken back pass free kick but couldn't because Kinkladze had already scored from a quick free kick at the other end.
- It pissd with rain right on full time so we didn't get killed outside. |  | | |
