You are right it has been quite a ride - from New Years Day at Old Trafford to getting stuffed at Layer Road. Now the club are finally back on the right track.

51 years for me. I have endured a lot of bad defeats but I have also had the sheer joy of Wembley, Highbury semi final, Anfield semi final, Hillsborough and of course winning at Watford. And getting the trophy denied to us by Phil Boyer, not that I hold a grudge. I wouldn’t change a day of it.
Tony has paid in far more than entrance fee. For many years he organised,planned and ran "Clubcall" paid the proceeds to the club. I expect he did get into many games free but he paid with his time.He is not the most likely of chaps in my opinion. you cant deny him his contributions to the club over many years.

He is the worlds biggest self promoter. I remember his 500th consecutive home game about 25 years ago when he got Gerry Francis to present him with an award on the pitch.
Meanwhile, a friend I know hasn't missed a home game since 1968 which I believe is about 1,400 games.
