You're saying we can't reinvest money from the Smithies sale, coupled with us getting Onouha and Robinson off the books. Don't buy that one bit.

Well I buy it.
We've got an FFP fine to pay, we are trying to ensure we don't incur another one and we are in our last year of parachute payments.

Been at work so missed all this.

Can someone save me wading through 14 pages and give me a summary of ins/outs?

Every professional footballer now plays for Nottingham Forest but they’re still going to finish behind Leeds because they’ve got Barry Douglas.

To be fair that sounds very QPR.

Didn't we sign a player allergic to grass once?

Well, to be fair, he shouldn't be smoking the stuff if he's allergic to it.

Did Leistner just stumble in through the door by accident while on his way out for a pint of milk?

Yes we got one promising 1st team player... (just a shame we didn't get a striker first).
I've no idea how many scouts we have, nor how we pay them. I'm simply asking the question (from a budgetary perspective).
Also, if there's to be a transfer embargo in January, does that apply to us signing players for the youth teams?

Its not a total embargo, we can reinvest a proportion of any sale proceeds and we can still sign out of contract players.

Not sure about U23s though.

So why pay them at all if there's no budget?

Don't notice Tottenham sacking their scouts this morning?!

Pretty sure it doesn't apply to U23s. They don't count for FFP.

and the funny thing is that if they get promoted 80% will be binned and not deemed good enough for the prem, those that are loans probably wont be taken on.

If they stay down Karanka wont be there so another manager will come in and start the whole thing all over again....hang on a minute, I think I've been through this in a past life

One thing you can guarantee is QPR will likely not win at the city ground

There does seem to be a load of bollox in the sports media. Churnalism to coin Clive's lovely phrase.
I know we lost Smithies, but are we really interested in Bettenelli from Fulham?
Rangel makes sense with Furlong out and Kakay still very raw.
Routledge - why? We've just let Wheeler go on loan, Pav seems on his way out, and we're looking at a 33 year old who has been released by relegated Swansea. I know he did well when he was here before but what is the point?
Hemed or Wells - makes sense as we clearly need to strengthen up front
Hugill - were we ever in with a chance?

Football League World (clickbait?) suggesting Michael Hector from Chelsea. Why a loan and not a sale? He's 26, he's not getting into the Chelsea side, he's already had 2 full seasons on loan in the Championship - Reading and Hull. I would have thought a loan for now with option to buy next Summer would be a good bet.
