Right lads and lassies - it's officially on. Peter and I are climbing Kilimanjaro in September.
We're paying our own way but while we're doing it we're raising money for Suicide Awareness and Prevention and remembering Peter's lovely nephew who we both used to coach before he tragically took his own life.

Hasnt cleared yet in my bank but when it does i'll ping it back over, no probs. :)
Hard work training for it and doing the actual climb but worth it for the view from the top and the celebratory beers afterwards. Had a great gang to climb with and the local guides were excellent, friendly and great fun.
Thanks to all of you on here for the great tips and for the incredible donations to the charity. They can’t figure out how so money was donated from all around the world. I had to explain that Rangers are different! We paid our own way and the charity have no expenses so we think we might hit €10,000 all told and every cent of that will go to saving lives. We’ll done to you all!
On the way back now and catching up on Rangers while waiting for a connecting flight in Addis Ababa. All good in W12?

that was my first charity trek and I really enjoyed it. Not sure I'll be doing another for a while but cracking experience - the training, the camaraderie, the locals in Tanzania...all really great.
