We can only see how it goes, no point slagging it off before it's even been put to the test in a tournament.

A list of injustices that could have been corrected.
England's equalizer v Germany 2010
The Hand of God - Maradona gets a yellow card
Harald Schumacher gets a straight red for violent conduct v France 1982
FIFA don't wave South Korea through to the semi's in 2002.
Brazil's goalkeeper Carlos is sent off in Brazil v France 1986 for a last man rugby tackle on Bellone

I don't think they should be trialing it in a World Cup but hopefully it works well.

That video in the op is not displaying, partly because it looks like FIFA has blocked it from being displayed unless it's straight from the FIFATV Channel on Youtube. Cut and paste this link into your browser's address bar if you want see it:

Shumacher to this day says it was nothing more then an accident. Hmmm
Battiston was out cold missing a couple of teeth and cracked ribs with Platini thinking he was dead. Just a typical case of six of one, half a dozen of the other...

As I've said before, it HAS been trialled and there have been many controversies.

We'll have to wait and see but I'm not hopeful

Yesterday, Collina (The ex referee now works for FIFA) said that ARS have been instructed to keep flags down for tight offsides - because, as I've said before, you can't correct a wrong flag, but you, in theory, can one that has not been raised.

Big problem for me, is that FIFA have said only decisions 'leading up to' a goal or pen will be reviewed - who decides how far back you go to correct a 'missed'offside - who knows?

Human nature and common sense dictates, that ARS are far less likely to raise the flag now, especially given this instruction.

I'll be back with more views on VAR, I'm sure!
