Question regarding FFP. 16:07 - Aug 8 with 641 viewsSnipper

I know we were hammered under old rules, but if a club now goes over the £39m deficit allowed over a rolling 3 years under the new FFP, what is the punishment?

It's undefined and up to a committee as far as I understand. What needs clearing up immediately is what happens in the time between the club having been found in breach of FFP and the committee's decision, as shown by the Birmingham City situation the in-between time is a bit of a mess, I'd have thought an immediate transfer ban should be put in place.

Poll: Who’s better?

Big risks being taken especially around the one "Golden Asset" Jack Grealish

Maybe it's just brinkmanship in trying to squeeze Daniel Levy (good luck with that one!) but a "not for sale" statement when they are starting their third year out of the Prem' seems a tad on the side of new ownership bravado.

Also rather blinkered reporting from those 5hitehouses at Sky who not once mentioned how the club could be gutted if they get it wrong this season. All the reporting seems to be around what a brave statement of intent the club are making. Not a single mention of FFP.

Ah well what do we at Loftus Road know, and do we really have any right to criticise.

Cheers Clive. Didn’t see that.
