I think we are hoping Hall will come through and that we wont need to sign another CB. Would be bizarre to sign Bassong.....just give one of the U23 players a chance, couldnt be any worst than a player who 1) rejected us a few years back and 2) hasn't played for 15 months. |  |

With the money spent on loaning in Wells and Hemed, I think it's a case of shifting more players before we have the option to loan any more.
A centre half is definitely needed though, even IF Hall comes back successfully we don't want to be relying on him or Baptiste, especially around Christmas when Lynch is off. |  |

I noted up here last season we nearly had him then - Ollie wanted him, really liked him as a player and possible Captain.
He wanted to come as he was proper irked with the situation with Captain, Bellend, Racist who picked and chose what he did and when and was taking Elphick's place.
Doubt we've any chance now as he's back in Villa first team. Be great if we could get him as I rate him as well.

Not sure he is back in their first team. He's played in two League Cup games but hasn't played in the league since the opening day. For some reason it looks like Bruce is playing Hutton at centre back alongside Chester. |  |
